The building is closed to the public. Please coordinate with the lab for access before arriving to the building: Enter the building's south wing  through the main doors, which are located along the central walkway, opposite of the glass-paneled space of the north wing. Take the main staircase or the elevators to the third floor. Proceed towards the north wing past the common area. The lab will be located on the left hand side.

Taking Stanford's Marguerite Shuttle to the Lab

Take “X” Line (All Day - Schedule)

  1. From Palo Alto Transit Center Caltrain Southbound Platform, wait at University Circle @ Caltrain Platform.
  2. Wait for and board the “X” Line (no fare needed).
  3. Google the stop Quarry Extension @ Grant Building.
  4. Click “Directions” and ride until close to the stop and then press one of the stop buttons located on the handrails in the shuttle aisle.
  5.  From there, walk towards Bass Biology Building.

Take “X-Express” Line (Morning Service: 5:51am to 9:27am)

  1. From Palo Alto Transit Center Caltrain Southbound Platform, wait at University Circle @ Caltrain Platform.
  2. Wait for and board the “X-Express” Line (no fare needed).
  3. Google the stop On Roth Way @ Campus Drive (last stop).
  4.  From there, walk towards Bass Biology Building.

Take “P” Line (All Day - Schedule)

  1. From Palo Alto Transit Center Caltrain Southbound Platform, wait at University Circle @ Platform South.
  2. Wait for and board the “P” Line (no fare needed).
  3. Google the stop Campus Oval (last stop).
  4.  From there, walk towards Bass Biology Building (directions say Blend Cafe - just walk left instead of right once you see the cafe).

Taking the SamTrans Bus to the Lab

 

  1. Wait at Palo Alto Transit Center (Bay 4).
  2. Board “281: STANFORD OVAL” and pay bus fare with cash or Clipper Card.
  3. Google the stop Roth Way & Campus Drive.
  4. Click “Directions” and ride until close to the stop and then pull one of the stop cord located above the windows.
  5.  From there, walk towards Bass Biology Building.

Driving to the Lab
  1. Navigate to Roth Way Garage near Stanford Hospital.
  2. Park in any parking space labeled for "Visitors" along the ground floor and up-ramp.
  3. Use one of ParkMobile's various ways to pay for parking. 
  4. Walk South along Campus drive to Bass Biology Building.
