Prospective Postdoctoral Scholars

Our lab is always interested in new PostDocs! Whether you have familiarity with C. elegans or not, we welcome new and seasoned scholars alike who are interested in working with the rest of the lab to expand our knowledge of neuroscience.

If you are interested in joining the Shen Lab, please email Dr. Shen at kangshen "at" stanford.edu to inquire about this opportunity, including information about your research interests, your CV, and references. Strong applicants are invited to the lab where they present their work to the current members. One-on-one interviews with our PI and individual members of the lab follow the presentation. After the interview, the lab discusses the candidates previous research and current interests. Dr. Shen communicates the decision directly with the candidate within a week.
