Prospective Undergraduate Students
Stanford Undergraduate Students
Students interested in conducting research in our lab as an undergraduate must contact our PI with ample time before the start of a quarter. We encourage a two-year commitment to the lab to ensure that you are properly trained in our model and research techniques with time to contribute meaningfully to a research project. You will be mentored by Kang and a senior member of the lab who already has an established project. Undergraduates in our lab also have the opportunity to pursue an individual project.
Students have the opportunity to join the lab as interns, or as students receiving credit/working towards their thesis. To join as an intern, reach out to our PI directly. For credit, please reach out to both you academic advisor and our PI to get this process started from both ends.
We are not hiring student researchers at this time.
Undergraduate Students from other Universities
Unless an exceptional circumstance, we do not sponsor undergraduate students from other universities during the regular academic year. We do, however, offer Internship opportunities over the summer. Information for these internships can be found on the Summer Interns page.
